Acceptance Of Proposal From The 2015 Parliament of the World's Religions
Mr. Vasile’s art installation aligns with the worldly concepts and mission statement of the Parliament of World Religions, consisting of 10,000 people from 80 countries and 50 faiths. Vasile's proposal was one of 300 accepted out of 1,588 proposals sent from around the world.

Award from the Governor Sandoval of Nevada
Las Vegas will be the first city to see the unveiling of the peace flags created one week prior in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Parliament of World Religions. Governor Sandoval has seen the importance of the art installation coming to his state , and has awarded Mr. Vasile and all the participants this recognition.
Austin, Texas declares Peace Flags In The Wind Day
Tom Reilly, teacher at International School of Texas, presented the ‘Peace Flags in the Wind’ concepts in his classroom, so that his students joined Mr. Vasile’s students at P.P.M.H. in Miami, Florida and Yangon International School in Myanmar, discuss impressions, models, and ideas of peace and create art.

Greenwich, Conneticut declares Peace Flags In The Wind Day
Peter J. Tesei, first selectman of the township of Greenwich has recognized the importance of Peace Flags in The Wind Day. Amy Lionheart, coordinator of volunteer services at Constellation Health Services & Hospice is the liaison to bring the installation and hands on workshop from Asia’s Myanmar to Greenwich.
"Rooted RyThEm-IsM" Peace Flag Series
Mr. Vasile’s students in Yangon International School in Myanmar series “Rooted RhYtHm-IzM,” features unique graphic presentations of all the countries in the world. Each individual youths designs artistically and visually pay respect to each country’s unique culture, foods, nature, art, tourism, iconic buildings and monuments. The piece will be unveiled in Sal Lake City Utah at the Parliament of World Religions.
Utah’s Life Story Library is dedicated to preserving the stories of our times as valuable recorded history. They will be interviewing Mr. Vasile and ‘Peace Flags in the Wind’ teen scholarship recipient J.C. De La Lastra incorporating the footage into a documentary of Parliament

Mr. J.L. Vasile founder of Peace flags in the Wind artwork was on the cover of Florida's Splash Magazine. The editor chose Vasile's image of Madonna called "Giesha Walls", and asked that he sign the cover edition. Vasile was promoting his seven paintings in the internationally best selling book Madonna in Art.

British Virgin Islands Newspaper The Beacon interviewed Mr. Vasile in Tortola. Vasile presented ribbons and medals at an assembly fro the entire elementary school. Mr. Reilly's 5th grade class who participated in the creation of the peace flags.
